Learn to Love Your Body Image

"...I am still and will probably always be on the journey toward accepting my body. We’ve been enemies for so long that to expect an immediate truce would be asinine. I’m beginning to really feel that I am beautiful both inside and out. There are good days and bad days any given week, and when the former outweigh the latter, I call it a success..."

How to Get the Best Swimsuits for Plus Size Women

Nowadays plus size swimsuits are considered as must have items for full figured women when they go to the beach. Although only a limit selection of such swimsuits is available in physical stores; there are much more varieties available on the internet. You would save a lot of time and effort by shopping online, at your own pace, that’s why more plus size women turn to purchase clothing on virtual stores.

Experienced designers have designed plus size swimsuits especially for large size bodies with an aim to make them look nicer and flatter. A wide variety of colours, patterns and fabrics are used in their production. But it is essential that you know how to get the right swimsuit for wearing in different water environment in order to have it last longer. The most important factor while purchasing a swim suit is fitting. You should make sure to look at the product size chart for a right size before you make an order and a well fitted swimsuit will make you feel comfortable whether you go to a poolside, a beach or to a water park with your family.

There are different styles of plus size swimsuits available for large women such as criss-cross straps swimsuit which not only provides you comfort, but also gives you a touch of fashion trend; or halter neck swimsuits give good support to big busted women. You can also choose two piece tankinis or skirtinis with longer top length so that your entire tummy is covered and you need not worry about exposing your bulges in the swimsuit.
Because you have many choices on the internet in terms of quality, prices and styles for buying a flattering swimsuit, you should do a throughout search to make sure that the swimsuit style is not sacrificed for comfort and neither vice-versa. Both style and comfort are equally important in choosing a good swimwear.

“The swimsuit arrived today and I am very happy as the sizing is right - it is modern and it covers well and everything is in its place. Not too tight in fact very comfortable and I don't look like a nana. It’s just beautiful!” Nicole from VIC

“I just bought a swim dress and it was exactly as described - the skirt was a little longer than normal which was great - covered the bad bits and I will feel a little more confident at the beach! The top bit really does the eye up - which is wonderful! It's really comfortable. The service was so unbelievably quick!”

Learn to Love Your Body!

“We wanted to encourage a celebration of individual beauty. Inspired by the social media practice of hashtagging ‘nofilter’ to mark unfiltered photography, we wanted to empower women to get involved and celebrate themselves ‘unfiltered’. You are beautiful just the way you are – tell the world.”
- M&C Saatchi Australia

"The curved line gives the waist of an hourglass shape on one side and a bulge on the other; what you see depends on who is looking. The idea is that there is often a huge distinction between how a woman looks and how she feels, and that your body is more beautiful than you think.."
- DDB Group Sydney
Creative director Steve Jackson

Marie Claire Mag. invited some of the country’s top advertising agencies to create an ad that would convince women to love their bodies now, not later.

However, as in one comment of a reader, NONE of the ad agencies use  images of plus size women on their ads. Their ad words may be kind and encourage all women to love their bodies but the ad images won't show that.

When A Damage Is Done!

Some people think that they can post hurtful comments about other people on social media such as Facebook or Twitter and they don't care about consequences. I think differently and I always put myself in the audience's shoes when I post anything on my social page; by doing so, I will not go too far like this business owner (the "sexy sailor coffee shop" Sips Ahoy):
