The False Body Image Perception in Fashion Industry

I have just found this article on Yahoo:  https://au.lifestyle.yahoo.com/fashion/features/article/-/23498591/lingerie-brand-la-perla-removes-stick-thin-mannequin-after-online-outcry/
The luxury lingerie brand had displayed their underwear on a stick thin woman dummy.
They 'd gone too far by showing a skeleton-like mannequin wearing the lingerie; what message they wanted to send to young girls through the figure? Is it "Look at me, you should have ribs and bone sticking out like mine" body image message they wanted to tell teenagers? unfortunately, because of that, many girls will starve themselve till they become anorexics.
I have been in a lot of fashion shows and I have seen many stick thin flat chest models on runway; I think it would have to go a long way to change the body image perception in the unrealistic fashion world.
